Yes, this is what I hear day after day in the idiot box, while sitting in one of the most developed societies under the sky. I really dont know whether this kind of panacea-baba's do get any calls at all ? But if they do.. I think thats really really bad.

How in the holy world does anyone think that a person can solve all your problems in 7 days!! This is plainly ridiculous and about the evil spirits the less said the better.

So, my main point highlighting this issue is that life comes with its own challenges and travails, which each individual needs to meticulously work through sometimes alone and sometimes with help of his friends and loved ones... but there are no shortcuts here.

Yeah, you could muster some help from good people, they could boost your efforts, fill you with all the good energy and get you "challenge-ready". But these panacea-baba's are just milking your frustrations.. thats what I feel.
