SamaraSimhaReddy and A history of Violence

Drawing similarities seems to be my incorrectable habit... but thats what seems to interest me to the bone.

I never felt the similarity more striking than when I saw the latest english flick "A history of Violence".

The storyline goes like this:

A seemingly harmless, absolutely stingless guy named Tom Stall, faces a scary situation of life and death, when he is attacked by a group of blood-thirsty hooligans. But comes out of this very easily killing the assailants with much ease and elan, astounding the residents of the sleeping village to which he belongs. He is immediately hailed as a hero discovered.

But it so happens that the reality is that this guy is a gruesome killer by profession and excels in it. Not only is his family shaken but its broken by this dicovery. He clears the air by putting to rest the gang that is responsible and he comes back to his family.

In a nutshell, its the most gullible, sweet, stingless, powerless guy having a background that scares the hell out of you.

This is where the similarity lies with the landmark telugu movie "Samara Simha Reddy"!!!.. Now please dont kill me....please!!!!!

Samara Simha Reddy or Tom Stall or Indra Sena Reddy -- It looks like "Everyone has something to hide".... right ???
