Contentment and Happiness
I have always believed that life is "WYSIWYG" - What you SEARCH is what you get. Yes, If you set out in life looking earnestly for something you are bound to get that. That is if you are in search of great friends I swear that you will get them, similarly if you are in search of sorrow and unhappiness you are doomed to get that.
So, why am I after you telling all this seemingly over-the-head stuff. The point here being my conversations with few people over the weekend.
"If only I had got this job near my home in Atlanta",
"If only I had got a better interesting roomate",
"If only I had better kind of work, a better project".... hmm what are we searching for here.. The answer comes from the great writer Mark Twain in his short story "The Undertaker's Chat", where he subtly conveys that whatever you are, whatever kind of work you do, there is no way that you make yourself unhappy unless you think yourself into it.
So, lets all try not to complain and sulk at the events of life, rather take them on with a constant lookout for happiness and bliss.
Peace!
