Identity , Probability, Serendipity et all

"We belong to a better religion, we will fight any oppression"
"We are the better race, others are no match"

Cries of war, misplaced pride abound us all today in every aspect of life. We have wars fought on basis of identities be it religious, national or racial. We have wanton, remorseless killing in the name of identity. So what are we after ?

Does a specific identity or rather a choice of identity exist to a person at the time of his birth ?
Could you choose to be a Hindu or Muslim before your birth ?
Isnt it a pure probability that you end up belonging to a particular race, creed or religion ?

So why this false pride and hatred for other groups ?
Why should you fight a race,religion,nation,ideology of which you dont belong only because of pure coincidence ?

Isnt this the time to realise what we are and put an end to all forms of war ?
How great would be the world with no wars .... I dream to be there....

I belong to the world. I belong to life and living... rather We belong to the world.
